This time it’s the user @twentysixpline who shared with his more than 18,000 subscribers his method for shortening pants. The fashion and beauty content creator says she is 1m60 tall and gives advice on how to adapt her wardrobe.
How to shorten pants that are too long without cutting them?
For this simple method, you just need two things: iron-on and an iron. In her demonstration, the TikToker from Avignon uses pants with fine fabric, a blue and white striped model. She leaves it on the right side and folds the pants until she obtains the desired length.

She begins to insert iron-on from the inside, starting at the seams, areas where there are often the most creases. She then unrolls her iron-on in front of her hem and cuts a strip of the entire length, being careful that it does not exceed. For a strip of fabric this thick, she uses two pieces of iron-on. Then she irons it so that it melts and the two parts are well stuck. She does the same thing on the other side, and that’s it! She thus obtains pants with a nice cuff.
A technique that she specifies also works if done on the reverse side of the garment to obtain a more classic hem and which she illustrates with white linen pants on which she did exactly the same thing, on the other side. An easy, quick technique that requires little investment.
