Since the iPhone X and the disappearance of the physical button, the manipulation to take a screenshot on an iPhone has changed. Here is how to take a screenshot on an iPhone 11, iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone 14, iPhone X or iPhone XS (and their Pro, Pro Max, Plus and mini versions).

How to take a screenshot on iPhone?

Hold on tight, because the handling is particularly complex (no, in fact, it is very simple). You must both press the main button (the one used to turn the smartphone on and off), located on the right edge of the phone, and the key to increase the volume, on the left of the device.

No need to keep pressing for a long time: a short pressure is enough to make your screenshot on the iPhone 11 for example. If you press and hold, a screen will offer you to turn off the iPhone or make an emergency call.

Once your screenshot is complete, a thumbnail of it will appear at the bottom left of your iPhone’s interface. By clicking on it, you will directly access a few customization options allowing you to choose to draw lines or pictograms over it, but also to share it with a contact. via the courier of your choice.
