Even simpler than on Facebook, it is entirely possible to record a video from Instagram. You can either download a video from the social network directly to your smartphone using a small manipulation in your settings, or simply save the video in an album in your application to view it again. In the first case, you can edit the video, but not in the second.
How to download an Instagram reel to your smartphone?
To keep a video that interests you, you can download it to your gallery using the options on your smartphone, as this is not allowed in the application. Whether you have an iPhone or an Android, the procedure is identical. First, go to your settings, then to “control center”, and activate the “screen recording” option. When you want to record an Instagram Reel, open your control center and tap “record screen”. Once the reel is finished, stop recording. That’s it ! The video has automatically downloaded to your gallery. You can edit it, send it or share it as you wish.
How to save a reel in the Instagram application?
You can also save a video directly in the Instagram application. To do this, simply go to the reel in question, and press on the small ribbon located at the bottom right of your screen. With this manipulation, the publication will then be automatically saved. To find it more easily, you can also classify it in a “collection”. You can create the collection of your choice by pressing the small cross in the menu that opens when saving.
When you want to view the Instagram reel you saved previously, go to your profile. Tap the three dashes at the top right of the app, and select “recordings” from the menu. You will then find all the posts and reels that you have saved so far.
