Hyper Scape: Ubisoft’s Battle Royale will stop, the closure of the servers dated

While the competition was increasingly varied and strong, Ubisoft made a funny bet while throwing Hyperscape in August 2020, just weeks after it was announced. the Battle Royale without real originality or charm did not really convince from the start, but it still chained the novelties until its Season 3 in March 2021.

Since then, there has been radio silence on the editor’s side. Unfortunately, it won’t be to make a comeback with a Season 4 which would reverse the situation, because Ubisoft just announced the closure of the Hyper Scape servers on April 28, 2022. The team thanks its community and claims to have learned from this experience for its future projects.

Dear attendees,

We have made the difficult decision to halt development of Hyper Scape and shut down the game’s servers on April 28th. We wanted to create a shooter experience that offered intense and fast-paced close combat with verticality, and we thank the community for following us in this adventure. We will use everything we learned about this game in our future projects.

To the entire Hyper Scape community, thank you for the passion and dedication you have shown to the world of Neo Arcadia, in-game and beyond. Your dedication to the game we’ve created will forever be in our hearts.

Sincerely, The Hyper Scape Team

Given the success and current momentum of the project, it is hard to believe that Hyperscape will be missed by many people, even if the stoppage of a game in live-service still bad news.
