HyperX announces the Clutch Gladiate, a new officially licensed wired Xbox controller


CES 2023 is an event rich in announcements for everything related to video games. Whether it’s Sony or other manufacturers in the PC market, there’s something for everyone. Today, HyperX is bringing the light to it with a new Xbox controller, the Clutch Gladiate. The brand also showed off the new additions to its Haste line of mice.

Can HyperX do better than Microsoft?

Very famous for its quality gaming headsets, HyperX has been offering hardware for PC gamers for a long time now. On the occasion of CES 2023, the brand announced a brand new wired controller for Xbox, the Clutch Gladiate. Suggested to $34.99 and officially licensed by Xbox, it has a double trigger lock and buttons on the back that can be remapped. It will also feature dual-rumble motors adding immersive force feedback cues as well as textured handles for better grip. She will compatible with Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC knowing that the cable will be detachable.

HyperX also announced two new models for its mice: Hyper X Pulsefire Haste 2 wired and Hyper X Pulsefire Haste 2 wireless. The wired version will be offered at $59.99 and boasts its light weight (53 grams) and fast and smooth movements thanks to the high-precision HyperX 26K sensor with native settings of up to 26,000 DPI. The wireless version will cost $79.99 and will offer a 2.4 GHz wireless connection and a Bluetooth connection. It also highlights a very low weight (62 grams) and has the same sensor as its wired version.
