“I didn’t want to know”: Voluble Cédric Jubillar, his ex-convict under high tension

On May 14, 2022, Cédric Jubillar and his ex-convict, Marco, were confronted with each other in the offices of the investigating judges. The opportunity for the two men to deliver their versions of their cohabitation at the Seysses remand center.

His revelations caused a stir. Early 2022, Marco, former detainee of the Seysses remand center, relaunched the investigation into the disappearance of Delphine Jubillar by revealing the content of her conversations with her ex-cellmate, Cédric Jubillar. “Cedric told me that he had buried the other while speaking of his wife, but that she was not buried deep. It worried him that his body might be discovered as winter approached.he had declared, specifying that the husband of Delphine Jubillar would have told him to have used “a white car“to go and bury his wife”at the farm that burned down“.

On the basis of these revelations, the research section of Toulouse ordered, on January 17, excavations around the farm of Cagnac-les-Mines. But in the absence of results, the investigating judges tried another approach. On May 14, a confrontation was organized between Cédric Jubillar and his ex-convict. A face to face aiming to oppose the versions of the two men.

“He talked about it 24 hours a day, several times I told him to shut up”

True to his original version, Cédric Jubillar denied any involvement in the murder of his wife, reveal our colleagues from BFMTV. He added that he never confided in Marco, even if the latter would have spent his time grilling him to obtain information on the murder. “ I never had this kind of discussion with himsaid the 34-year-old Tarnais. Since he was insistent on knowing where I put the body, I said with a laugh that I put it near the farmhouse that burned down, that’s all. It’s the only thing that’s true, the rest is lies.” Faced with these accusations, Marco blamed Jubillar, saying he never asked his ex-convict any questions. On the contrary, according to his version, it was Jubillar himself who told him too much. “It’s the opposite, I was telling him to stop talking, he replied, he talked about it 24 hours a day, several times I told him to shut up, that I didn’t even want to know”.

During the confrontation, Marco also repeated that Cédric Jubillar would have asked him to help his new partner, Séverine, to move the body of Delphine Jubillar when he was released from prison. Again, the husband of the disappeared denied in block. “I have always maintained that I was innocent in the story. You ask me if he’s lying I answer yes“, he asserted. Indicted on June 18, 2021 for “aggravated murder”, Cédric Jubillar remains imprisoned in the Seysses remand center.
