According to the complaint filed on March 7 and consulted by AFP, the journalist from the investigative site explained that he was dining with a lawyer in a restaurant on February 22. “A woman, previously seated, alone, at a table (…) appeared and in a very short space of time grabbed the latter by the hair with violence, throwing his head back and spitting on his face “, it is written in the deposition“, reported PureMédias.

On the set of Quotidien, this Wednesday, May 10, Maïwenn spoke for the first time on the subject: “I did not receive the complaint; I learned about it in the press.

Relaunched by Yann Barthès: “And you attacked him?”, Maïwenn responded in the affirmative, with a smile, provoking laughter in the audience. New relaunch from the presenter: “Can we know why?“, she answers “No no“.

Why can’t we know?“”Nice try, but now is not the time for me to talk about it. I’ll talk about it when the time is right. I am very anxious about the release of my film.”

This news in the news section comes as Maïwenn is in the spotlight with the imminent opening of the Cannes Film Festival, during which her new feature film (see trailer above), Jeanne du Barry, will be present. Maïwenn shares the bill with Johnny Depp. Jeanne du Barry will be released simultaneously throughout France, at the same time as its presentation in Cannes, on Tuesday May 16.
