He is a fulfilled father. For several years, Marc Lavoine is very well known to the French thanks to his catchy songs but also thanks to his role as coach in The Voice. He notably shares a duet with Grand Corps Malade on the song which gave its title to the disc, but also with actress Virginie Ledoyen. During the show, the 59-year-old singer rarely mentioned his children and in particular on the transmission. “I listen to my children a lot. I don’t own my children, but neither do they own me. I need to establish this rapport, to really talk to them. There are rules, a framework to have. There are principles, he began.
“I try not to do too much nonsense”
Then, Marc Lavoine added : “What is difficult for my children, I don’t really want to say it but well… They were never poor in a certain way, so they may have more to learn. Me, I was rich because I was rich from nothing. That’s what wealth is, it’s the influence you can have on existence. I try not to do too much nonsense and I join Big Flo and Oli. They did a wonderful thing about their dad where they say a dad is a guy who does what he can. The children too. They do what they can…”
