During a sequence where Maud sings the title in love by Véronique Sanson during an audition, the character of Marilou Berry, who was dubbed by a singer from The Voice for the musical sequences of season 2, finds herself in opposition to Lila, a singer with a golden voice who makes her understand that she is not at the level.
And if the face of this young singer is familiar to you, it is normal, since it is Victoria Sio, who participated in the musical The sun King in the 2000s, in the role of Isabelle, interpreted the French credits of the Heroes series in 2007, and has since embarked on a solo career, with the release in particular last October of an EP carried by the singles FMLP and Everything is good there.

But, at the end of 2021, it was above all for the feature film Aline by Valérie Lemercier that Victoria Sio caused a lot of talk about her since it was she who lent her voice to Aline Dieu, the heroine of this fake biopic, and took over thus the most famous titles of Celine Dion, without falling into imitation.
“We were looking for a real voice for this first episode of season 2, and Victoria Sio was quickly offered to us”explained to us the producer of I promise you Aline Panel about this small appearance of the voice of Aline in the series. “It’s an artistic encounter that happened in a natural way”.
Victoria Sio is not the only personality to have made a small appearance in I promise you last night on TF1 since the television and radio host Laurent Artufel embodies the father of a teenager who picks on Rose at the pool in episode 2.
Season 2 of I promise you, which allowed the front page to be the leader in audiences yesterday with 3.39 million viewers on average and a good score of 28.3% on women responsible for purchases under 50 , continues next Monday on TF1.
