“I think that’s great” – Drive-in-Nikolo im Bgld: gifts as you drive past

Under strict conditions, St. Nicholas is allowed to visit children on December 6th despite the lockdown. But for all those who play it safe and didn’t want to take a virus risk, an innkeeper from Jois in Burgenland had a particularly creative idea. At the weekend there was the opportunity to visit a drive-in Nikolo in his courtyard.

Markus Wieger, disguised as a long beard, welcomed numerous families who stopped by. The Burgenland gave the children their gift bags through the car window. The little ones were delighted. Dedicated to Nikolo. Many adults also found the idea more than successful. “Well, in these times I think the idea is good,” emphasized an older couple in the TV report.
