Muriel Robin will be in the miniseries Mon Ange, broadcast on TF1 from Thursday, January 6, 2022. On the occasion, she confided in Télé Star about her role in the series by evoking her own past.
The new series My angel arrives from January 6 on TF1 and it will stage a five-star cast including Muriel Robin, Patrick Chesnais or Marilou Berry. Muriel Robin plays Suzanne, a mother who cannot recover from the disappearance of her daughter eight years ago. By undertaking research in a small village, she turns her back on her inhabitants and finds herself more alone than ever. When she was interviewed by Télé Star, the actress Muriel Robin recognized herself in this feeling, and for a very specific reason: he told her about her own childhood and her questions about herself while she was still figuring out her sexual orientation.
“Her loneliness spoke to me. Suzanne arrives in a village, she is not like the others. It reminded me of my youth in Saint-Etienne, when I was looking for my sexuality. I had very short hair, sometimes I dressed as a girl, sometimes as a boy. I was the daughter of ‘Robin shoes’ (her parents ran a shoe store, editor’s note). I was pointed out, I was different, I was disturbing. This isolation, I have known it “. explains the actress. But that’s not the only thing that drew Muriel Robin to the role of Suzanne, whose the determination does not weaken despite the passing years after the disappearance of his daughter and the lack of leads to find her.
Muriel Robin: “The word courage is a word for women”
“I also liked this woman for her determination, her courage. The word courage is a word that goes to women “. And one that goes particularly to Muriel Robin who, despite a complicated childhood and a painful sidelining, has managed to find and flourish, in particular thanks to his partner, Anne Le Nen. The comedian and actress multiplies the projects and it is therefore on TF1 from January 6 that viewers will be able to find her in the series My angel created by Négar Djavadi and produced by Arnauld Mercadier.
You can find an interview in full on your Télé Star this Monday, January 3.
