Enrico Macias answered questions from Nikos Aliagas, this Saturday, February 26, on the show 50′ inside, broadcast on TF1. The singer notably returned to one of his fans he would have done without. He is one of the most famous terrorists in the world: Osama bin Laden, leader for several years of the Al-Qaeda network. He revealed that that’s what he has “the most surprised in his life”.

“Once, while I was sleeping one morning, I got a call. I was told, ‘Have you seen the news?’ I ask why. I am answered: ‘There is bin Laden who is a fan of you.’ I said ‘so listen, if this is a hoax, leave me alone'”reported the interpreter ofChildren from all countries. Information that turned out to be true. “It was true. We saw in his hiding places that there were records of me“, he assured. And to conclude: “I couldn’t believe it, but I was not at all proud that bin Laden liked me.“

Enrico Macias still upset by the death of his wife

During the broadcast, Enrico Macias also confided in the death of his wife, Suzy. The latter died on December 23, 2008 in the arms of the singer. A loss from which he is still struggling to recover. “Since her disappearance, I have not wanted to change apartments so that she is always present with me and that she protects me, that she protects the whole family. […] The pain is always intense“, he said, with emotion. While watching video clips of his wife, Enrico Macias said: “When I see Suzy, I realize why I liked her, because even when she talks, it makes sense what she says. She never had a big head (…) Everyone who met Suzy fell more in love with Suzy than with myself.”
