IBM strengthens its collaboration with Crédit Agricole

(Boursier.com) – IBM announced an extended collaboration with Crédit Agricole through a new seven-year agreement. Together, the bank and IBM will focus on providing customers with an enhanced digital experience. The new agreement will relate to the modernization of part of the Crédit Agricole group’s applications, in particular the management of accounts and loans. This modernization will allow the bank to benefit from the latest IBM technologies, including IBM Z, in terms of cryptography, security, resilience and interoperability.

Crédit Agricole plans to improve the modularity and openness of its applications and to gain in agility with a modern development tool common to all DevOps platforms.

A team of engineers and experts from Kyndryl will work in collaboration with the Crédit Agricole teams to supervise the project and ensure operational continuity by setting up a dedicated Kyndryl Services and Skills Center (CDC / CDS). at IBM Z.

The modernization project opens up new development prospects, in particular AI and “Cloud-native” offers, in order to meet the demands of the current rapidly evolving digital economy.
This will help optimize customer journeys, deploy useful innovations on a large scale in Crédit Agricole’s markets and improve operational efficiency in the service of the bank’s customers.
