(AOF) – ID Logistics, a European player in contract logistics, announces the completion of the acquisition of 100% of Spedimex, a contract logistics company in Poland with strong expertise in the fashion and e-commerce sector. trade. The transaction was paid in cash for 23.5 million euros and for the equivalent of 53.9 million euros in new ID Logistics Group shares issued in favor of Marcin Bąk, former main shareholder and CEO of Spedimex. The latter becomes a 3.2% shareholder in ID Logistics Group.
These payment terms enable ID Logistics to maintain a solid financial structure post-acquisition.
The complementarity of the customer portfolios and technical expertise of Spedimex and ID Logistics will make it possible to develop significant commercial synergies, in particular for leading international customers.
With the acquisition of Spedimex, ID Logistics becomes the leader in the Polish market with 35 sites, 7,000 employees and a leading customer portfolio made up of manufacturers, distributors and e-merchants.
Spedimex will operate under the name ID Logistics and the new entity will be led by Yann Belgy, Managing Director of ID Logistics in Poland, Marcin Bąk, CEO of Spedimex, providing a 6-month transition period by his side.
