Immigration: Emmanuel Macron will speak on television at the end of the day

PARIS, December 20 (Reuters) – Emmanuel Macron will speak on television at the end of the day on Wednesday, reports BFM TV, the day after the adoption of the controversial immigration bill which shakes up the majority in the National Assembly.

Parliament approved it by 349 votes to 186, an advance which allows the presidential camp to say that it was approved without the help of the National Rally (RN), which has 88 deputies.

The Senate, where the right is in the majority, adopted the text earlier in the evening, by 214 votes to 114.
