“In all friendship”: Dr. Stein has to say goodbye to Klara
“In all friendship” viewers currently have to put up with an emotional roller coaster ride: After Yaris (Richard Manualpillai), the father of Dr. Martin Stein’s (Bernhard Bettermann, 57) granddaughter Klara, appears to be the small family that the doctor and his friend and colleague Dr. Ina Schulte (Isabell Gerschke, 43) built to break up. After much deliberation, Yaris decides not to travel back to Africa for his project but to take Klara in with him in Cologne. He wants to catch up with his specialist there. Ina and Dr. Stein has no choice but to say goodbye to his beloved granddaughter.
On Instagram, some fans who have already seen the episode – and are not at all enthusiastic about the end of the story about Klara – speak up. “As shown in the series, it doesn’t matter where Klara is taken. It is and remains unrealistic and unnecessary,” is a fairly unequivocally critical summary of a fan’s storyline. “You could have saved yourself this episode,” writes another person who apparently couldn’t convince the other stories in the new episode “Half Truths”.

“Police call 110”: Verena Altenberger is replaced by Johanna Wokalek
“Polizeiruf 110” fans had to say goodbye to actress Verena Altenberger, 34: she turned her back on the crime series and her role as Commissioner Elisabeth Eyckhoff. Now a successor has been found: Johanna Wokalek, 47, will be the new investigator, as the Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR) announced in a press release. “At a time when some things are becoming more confusing or more and more ‘watered down’, I am particularly happy to be part of this Munich gem,” quotes the BR actress Wokalek.
The shooting of her first “Polizeiruf 110” with the title “Little Boxes” has been going on since July 12th and should be finished on August 12th. In the new episode, Wokalek plays investigator Cris Blohm, who returns to Munich after an assignment abroad and immerses herself in the university environment in case a doctoral student dies. In the course of the investigation, her colleague Dennis Eden (Stephan Zimmer, 47) and she are confronted with the claim that the murdered man was a rapist and that he had received his “fair” punishment. The episode is scheduled to be broadcast in the second half of 2023 on the first.
