“The choice that was made by the Europeans […] is in no way to participate in this war but to recognize and name it, where I too often see hypocrisy, especially on the African continent […] not knowing how to qualify a war that is one and not knowing who launched it”affirmed the French president during a joint press conference with his Cameroonian counterpart, Paul Biya, in Yaoundé.
In addition, Emmanuel Macron again called for helping Africa to respond to “food emergency”. “Food like energy have become Russian weapons of war. On the other hand, it puts us all before our responsibilities: we must help the African continent to produce more for itself”he insisted.
