In Lower Austria – Salzburg biker was seriously injured in a fall


A motorcyclist from Salzburg was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Lower Austria’s Lunz am See (Scheibbs district) on Friday.

The 45-year-old was part of a group of bikers from the Hallein district on the B25 in the direction of Gaming. A 61-year-old driving after her noticed too late that she was turning left onto a local road. Despite emergency braking, there was a collision and the woman fell. According to the police, she was flown to the hospital.

According to a broadcast, the group consisted of three men and one woman. The 49-year-old and the 59-year-old had turned left in front of the 45-year-old, the 61-year-old had driven behind her. Shortly before 9.30 a.m. after the fall, the other motorcyclists immediately provided first aid and alerted the emergency services. The woman from Salzburg was treated at the Amstetten State Hospital.
