In Saalfelden – Golden Sara gave young hoppers wings

For many youngsters, a dream has come true. At the ASVÖ Family Sports Day in Saalfelden, daring kids got to know a ski jumping hill for the first time on Thursday and also received valuable tips from team world champion Sara Marita Kramer.

The mobile K1 hill of the ÖSV was one of the big eye-catchers at the ASVÖ family sports day of the HIB Saalfelden. The facility, designed by the well-known track builder Peter Riedel – renewed the track at Paul-Ausserleitner-Bakken in Bischofshofen – gives young hikers quick and easy access to children’s ski jumping.

And the daring in Pinzgau were also instructed by team world champion Sara Marita Kramer during their first attempts. The motivation was of course extra high. “It’s really cool that there is such an offer for children, I started alpine skiing as a child on a small hill without a trace. It is great fun for the children to get a taste of ski jumping on the K1 hill. Some were really motivated and there were really great jumps. I’ve already seen one or the other talent, ”said Kramer himself, drawing a positive summary.

The designer Riedel was also enthusiastic: “The mobile K1 ski jump is a project close to our hearts, because we like to work with and for the youngsters. When the children’s eyes light up like today in Saalfelden, that’s really great. That is why we participated financially in the entire project. We are happy that the ski jump has been so well received and hope that many children will be enthusiastic about ski jumping. “
