April 6 (Reuters) – The Tokyo Stock Exchange ended sharply lower on Wednesday, in the wake of a decline on Wall Street the previous day, after statements by Federal Reserve officials suggesting a rapid tightening of U.S. monetary policy could dampen the growth.
The Nikkei lost 1.58% to 27,350.30 points and the broader Topix fell 1.34% to 1,922.91.
