Ina Aogo suffered from depression after giving birth to her son in September. The player woman revealed that in an interview.

Ina Aogo (31) is mostly happy and without problems on Instagram. All the more surprising what the wife of soccer player Dennis Aogo (34) now revealed in an interview with the "Bild": After the birth of her son in September 2020, she suffered from depression. "I would never have thought that of myself," said the mother of two. "I couldn't accept our son like our daughter. This whole pandemic has totally destroyed me inside."

In her Instagram story, Aogo addresses the interview again on Tuesday (February 9). She is actually a happy person and not a person who falls into depression. But the problems began already during the pregnancy with his son Princeten: Aogo went into premature labor and the baby was born four weeks early. "I suspect that this whole corona madness was the trigger," says Ina Aogo. Her son had to spend ten days in the intensive care unit and shortly after the birth she and husband Dennis fell ill with corona, she continues. "I was also totally unhappy with my body. Everything just pent up so that I got depression."

Vacation in Dubai is "like a cure" for Ina Aogo

The family of four is currently on vacation in Dubai. They decided to do this in order to reduce the pandemic stress, Aogo explains in an interview. Since moving to Dubai, she has also started to lose her pregnancy weight. Suddenly it "clicked" and the scales "finally went the other way."

In Dubai she was able to establish a "really good connection" with her son, Aogo said in her Instagram story. "In Germany I didn't have the opportunity to do so because there was always a distraction."
