The precise plot of this fifth opus is not yet known, but that does not prevent us from having our little theory! We already know that the action will take place partly in 1969 and will bring the archaeologist to team up with his goddaughter Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge). At the house of Digitalwe suspect that this adventure will certainly lead the duo across the globe… but also through time, thanks to the famous dial of destiny!

And if, in the manner ofAvengers: Endgame, this new film brought Indy back through his old adventures, to prevent the Nazi Voller (Mads Mikkelsen) from undoing his exploits? In any case, this is what some shots of the trailer suggest. Like the one where we see a young Indy in a Nazi uniform similar to the one he wears in The Last Crusade (1989).

In addition, a shot by Voller (Mads Mikkelsen) above a mysterious crate naturally made us think of the Ark of the Covenant, the central artifact of the Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), which quickly reappeared in The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008).

Of course, all this is only extrapolation, and we will wait for an official synopsis to see more clearly. But an adventure that revisits the whole saga would be pretty good, wouldn’t it?
