Indiana Jones: The MachineGames game promises a unique mix of genres

IndianaJones will soon be talked about again in the cinema with a fourth… sorry, a fifth film in 2023, which could be the perfect time to Bethesda to pull out of his hat the game developed by MachineGames. Starfield takes up most of Bethesda’s time right now, but Todd Howard knows that he must continue to teaser this mysterious project which has so far only shown a micro-teaser, and whose development is far from over.

Much more than an Uncharted-like?

Interviewed by Lex Fridman (relayed by VGC) about the genre of this IndianaJonesTodd Howard didn’t want to say too much but did say that the game would be a mash up of genres, a unique title that will offer a lot of different things. He then defines this game as being a ” ultimate love letter to Indiana Jones », and indicates that MachineGames is the perfect studio for this project, both for its expertise in gameplay and storytelling.

If we had to imagine a game IndianaJonestoday it will be difficult to remove it from the mold ofUncharted, as the two licenses are similar. It is unclear what genres the title could explore in addition to the traditional action and adventure game, but with MachinesGames at the helm, which has distinguished itself on the series Wolfensteinwe can already expect that the “shooter” part, if there is one, will probably be successful.

Still no release date for this IndianaJoneswhich should logically arrive on PC and Xbox Series, and perhaps other platforms.
