Samsung regularly celebrates great success with its mid-range cell phones. Year after year, the smartphones are upgraded and get more features from the premium models. With the Galaxy A24, this is said to not remain the case compared to the Galaxy A23. Samsung wants to save money, especially in an inexplicable place.
Samsung Galaxy A24 expected with smaller battery
Samsung’s recipe for success for mid-range cell phones is actually quite simple: chic design, solid hardware, large battery and an attractive price. This ensures that A-class smartphones sell well. But suddenly Samsung wants to weaken this successful concept at a crucial point. The Samsung Galaxy A24 is said to have a much smaller battery compared to the Galaxy A23. This should no longer be 5,000 mAh, as is actually standard in this smartphone class, but only at 4,000 mAh (Source: SamMobile).
Due to the small battery, the Samsung Galaxy A24 would already be catapulted to the sidelines for many interested parties. Especially since it can only be charged with 15 instead of 25 watts. Furthermore, the camera should be saved. Instead of the 50 MP sensor, a 48 MP sensor should be used. We’ll have to wait and see whether this will really have a positive or negative effect on the image quality. After all, this should continue to support optical image stabilization.

Better display expected on the Samsung Galaxy A24
So while the battery of the Samsung Galaxy A24 should be noticeably weaker, the display could be a nice upgrade. Instead of an LC display, an AMOLED panel should be used there. This should continue to work at 90 Hz. This should improve the image quality significantly. It is not yet possible to say whether this will have a negative effect on the price. Samsung will certainly not have it easy with the Galaxy A24 on the market with the many competitors if the equipment gets worse in crucial areas.
