Dark times of her life: “I was getting worse and worse”

Inka Bause has become an indispensable part of the German TV landscape. She almost embarked on a completely different career. The “Bauer sucht Frau” presenter remembers the emotional beginnings in the TV business in an interview with Désirée Nick.
With good humor, wit and charm, Inka Bause (51) has been pairing lonely farmers for 16 years on the TV show “Bauer sucht Frau”. You don’t notice that there were also dark times in her life. But the fact that the job that she has been doing for so long gave her rather difficult moments at the beginning, the RTL star now speaks in the podcast by Désirée Nick (64).
Inka Bause had to do without passion
In the podcast “Lose Luder” Inka Bause makes the sad confession that shows a new facet of her. When asked how she combines her passion, music and moderation in her life and how she deals with the fact that she always sells the perfect world, the 51-year-old becomes surprisingly emotional: “I came from a wonderful family the foundation, had a wonderful childhood, learned all that, why should I sell dirt? My cracks didn’t appear until I was in my mid-30s [ …], you just need that and I accepted that and then also when the success with RTL started [ …]”For ten years I pretended that I didn’t need the music, that it had nothing to do with me.”
The fact that she could hardly take care of her music anymore, and was always busy filming, bothered her a lot back then. She held out for ten years, then began to show the first psychological symptoms.
“Bauer sucht Frau” star “got sicker and sicker”
Successful at work, but unhappy privately – Inka Bause increasingly suffered from not being able to let off steam creatively. “I was getting sicker and worse, until a whole dear woman said to me: ‘You come from a creative family […]’Maybe you are feeling so bad because you always suppress it?’ and that’s when I developed the ‘Lebenslieder’ project for my 50th birthday, “explains the moderator in an interview with Désirée Nick.
For a year now, Inka has been able to exercise her passion alongside her job and is not only doing something good for her soul, but also for her fans.
