Connected lighting is a real advance in the simplicity of home automation for many. But if they become controllable by voice, the smartphone remains their privileged remote control, if only to adjust the light intensity or the color of our connected bulbs. This good old switch is hardly used any more even though it still has all its usefulness.
Because not everyone necessarily has their smartphone in hand when it comes to dimming the light or switching off. The switch, we always know where it is since it does not move by definition. Based on this observation and the use of its connected bulbs, the Innr brand has the idea of modernizing the switch by making it nomadic, easy to use and configure, and above all compatible with a maximum of products. And not just his own.
You can even control your lights from your fridge
Here is the Innr Smart Button, a small round disc that can be used on a fairly traditional square base for a switch. Except that it can be fixed to the wall replacing the old models or be placed on a table, or even take a position on a metal surface since it is also magnetized (refrigerator, iron cabinet, plate, etc.). No need to drill holes whatever the chosen solution or even to connect it electrically. This smart button is perfectly autonomous.

It works with the brand’s Wi-Fi products (as well as those that are Wi-FI + Bluetooth), but also with bulbs, LED strips and other Zigbee lighting. All you have to do is connect them to the Innr bridge and identify them from the application.
The Innr Smart Button will thus be able to control one or more connected lights at the same time in the house. It will be possible to activate / deactivate them, choose the lighting, its intensity and vary the pleasures according to the time of day, the need or the atmosphere. Pressing turns the lamps on or off. A long press allows the button to be used as a dimmer. And it is possible to create up to 5 different atmospheres which will be triggered by pressing the button twice (and successively to scroll through them).
If you’re worried that the button controls aren’t clear enough for you, Innr also has a square-shaped remote control in its satchel, with five control buttons on it. You can turn on or off by pressing the center, vary the light intensity by pressing up or down, while the side arrows can change colors by keeping them pressed. The application also allows you to define presets to assign to the arrows.

And like the button, the remote control can be mounted on the wall without drilling or electrical connection or placed next to you on the table.
