Recently, Instagram allows users to add multiple links to their bio.

According to Mark Zuckerberg, this is to respond favorably to the requests of many users.

Linktree in my Instagram?

Until now, it was only possible to add one link on your Instagram profile. With the new update (being rolled out), Instagram allows you to add multiple links, with the possibility of climbing up to a maximum of five links. Convenient to refer your community to your other favorite platforms.

Last February, Meta announced the “Broadcasts Channels” on Instagram, the principle of which took up that of another very famous messaging application: Telegram. And it is precisely by this same means that Mark Zuckerberg confirmed the arrival of this other function, inspired this time… by Linktree.

You can now add up to five links in your Instagram bio. Probably one of the most requested features we’ve had “, explains the great manitou of Meta.

Up to five links in your bio

Right now, Instagram’s chosen display isn’t the most stylish, but still functional. Indeed, when a profile displays several links in its bio, Instagram will only display the first one, and indicate the number of additional links.

By clicking on the first link, a selection screen opens and then allows you to view all the links. Not necessarily a model of ergonomics therefore, but we imagine that Meta will refine all this over the coming weeks.

For the user, it is the possibility of redirecting his community to his personal site for example, but also of indicating his Twitter account, his Facebook account, his TikTok account, his shop…

Finally, on Instagram, if you’re one of the users regularly mentioned in fraudulent commercial posts that have been filling your notifications for weeks, there is a way to put an end to this wild spam (often by Shein).
