Intercontinental Hotels: 50% increase in adjusted EPS


(CercleFinance.com) – Intercontinental Hotels publishes revenue of $2,226 million for the first half of the 2023 financial year, up 24% compared to the same period twelve months earlier.

Half-year operating income was $584 million, up 62% year-on-year with adjusted EPS of 182.7 cents, up 50%, driven by RevPAR up 24%.

In addition, Intercontinental Hotels announced a 32% increase in its debt, which now stands at $2,270 million.

“Our teams delivered strong results in the first half, with significantly better financial performance, hotel openings and signings than the previous year,” he added.
