Interview with Pürstl – These demos cost millions in tax money

The corona demos give the impression that the police do not have the situation under control. They are banned, but thousands still appear, including those who are violent and anti-Semites. People are warned not to go out. This can not be it?
We have a law here that is 150 years old. If a demo is banned today, it will continue on social media and people will come together without notice. We then have to check on site whether there are reasons for dissolution. With a few thousand people, we have to act with sensitivity. Regarding the accusation that we are not proceeding so sharply, I can only say the following: At the Corona demos this year alone we had 86 arrests, 9,000 reports and 100 uses of weapons. We do not measure with two standards!
