Loïk Le Priol, the main suspect in the death of ex-rugby player Federico Martin Aramburu on March 19 in Paris, was placed in judicial detention on Thursday evening upon his arrival at Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle airport from Budapest.
The 27-year-old young man, a former soldier and activist in the ultra-right Groupe Union Défense (GUD) movement, was arrested three days after the events in Hungary, at the Zahony border post, as part of a search warrant. Two people already indicted
In this case, two other people have already been indicted and remanded in custody. Close to Loïk Le Priol, Romain Bouvier, 31, was indicted for “murder” and two offenses related to the possession of weapons. Suspected of having also shot Aramburu, he was imprisoned in the prison of La Santé in Paris.
A 24-year-old woman, presented as the girlfriend of Loik Le Priol, was also indicted for “complicity in murder” and placed in pre-trial detention. She is suspected of having driven a vehicle belonging to Loïk Le Priol on the evening of the incident.

According to the first elements of the investigation, the 42-year-old former Argentinian rugby player was shot and killed after an altercation in a bar in Saint-Germain-des-Près, Le Mabillon.
Loïk Le Priol is known for his radicalism and violence. His anchorage to the ultra-right earned him to be “file S” by the General Directorate of Internal Security (DGSI). He must appear, like Romain Bouvier, in court in June for “aggravated violence” against a member of the GUD, whom they are suspected of having beaten and humiliated with three other members of the ultra-right movement. Their judicial control prohibited them from making contact.
