Serious death in Linz! A well-known employee of the Linz gastro scene was found dead in front of his apartment on Sunday morning after visiting a local restaurant. His wife alerted the emergency services, resuscitation was unsuccessful. The police are investigating.
The police have been dealing with a serious death since Sunday. A 51-year-old from Linz was found dead in the morning at the entrance to his apartment, previously he had visited a restaurant on Landwiedstrasse. The State Criminal Police Office was called in because the corpse had broken bones. The dead man was found by his partner (46) around 8:15 a.m.
Autopsy result is there
Since the circumstances of the death could not be clearly clarified, the Linz public prosecutor ordered an autopsy. This revealed hypothermia combined with swallowing vomit as the cause of death. In addition, the man had numerous bruises on his body and a tear bruise on his head. Whether these injuries are related to a fall or another incident is still under investigation. These are carried out by the criminal department of the Linz City Police Command.
