Invibes Advertising grows by 21% in 2022 – 01/25/2023 at 18:09

(AOF) – Invibes Advertising, an advanced technology company specializing in digital advertising, has announced its 2022 turnover up 21%, to 27.8 million euros. After a third quarter marked by a slowdown in the digital advertising market and a reduction in investments by advertisers due to the uncertainties linked to the toughening of the economic environment in Europe, the market deceleration continued into the following quarter.

In 2023, Invibes Advertising expects to generate further growth in its business, provided that more favorable market conditions are once again met.

But this growth will not be at the expense of the operational profitability that the company intends to preserve.

To achieve this, after a first half marked by an increase in structural costs to support the commercial ramp-up at the start of the year, the deceleration of the market from the summer led Invibes Advertising to reduce its sales and support staff. in the fourth quarter of 2022.

This measure will generate additional costs in 2022 and produce its first favorable effects on expenses from 2023, while preserving the company’s capacity for innovation in order to continue to differentiate itself and gain market share.

Note that the group will publish its 2022 annual results on March 28, 2023, after the close of trading.

Growth of online advertising slowed down

After a record year in 2021, advertisers are now more cautious. In the first quarter, online advertising recorded growth limited to 7% for Meta, the lowest level since its IPO in 2012. The ex-Facebook is particularly impacted by Apple’s new system which restricts the ad targeting. Indeed, applications in iPhones must now ask their users if their data can be shared with third parties for advertising purposes. According to an industry expert, the shortfall for Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Snapchat could approach $16 billion in 2022.
