Apple is reportedly set to make numerous hardware announcements, although no event is expected to take place to mark the occasion. The Apple brand would indeed have new Macs and iPads in its pipeline, including the highly anticipated iPad Pro M3.

At the start of the year, Apple would already have several devices in its bag. If we already know that the fourth generation iPhone SE will not be one of them, Apple would still have some small surprises in store for us, although it has not planned a special event for the occasion. According to certain rumors, Apple would therefore consider taking advantage of this first week of March to lift the veil around its iPad Pro M3 and its future MacBook Air. Different accessories as well as a new color for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus could also be made official.

New iPads based on M3 chip could arrive in March

Rumors have been circulating for several weeks about potential announcements from Apple for the first half of 2024. While the release of the Apple Vision Pro marked the start of the year in the United States, and a second iteration of the mixed reality headset is already planned for 2025, at Apple, there is no shortage of devices to fill the release schedule in the weeks and months to come. And for good reason, the Californian company plans to market new iPads during the month of March.

In order to compensate for the low sales of tablets for several years now, the bitten apple brand is preparing to unveil two new iPad Pro models equipped with OLED screens and powered by the M3 chip. The latter should also materialize some readjustments in terms of design, and would therefore be finer than their predecessors. Finally, the iPad Pro M3 could offer MagSafe wireless charging, although this is obviously not yet fully implemented according to MacRumors.

As we told you a few days ago, two iPad Airs should arrive. If the first will be roughly equivalent to the iPad Air that we already know, the second, on the other hand, should benefit from a larger 12.9-inch screen.

MacBook Air, Apple Pencil, Magic Keyboard… what announcements can we expect?

A new Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro would also be planned. Equipped with a larger trackpad, the keyboard would be partially designed in aluminum. The Cupertino giant plans to announce a new Apple Pencil and could also unveil a new color for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.

As for the MacBook Air, we obviously shouldn’t expect any major upheavals apart from the M3 chip. Note that they could nevertheless benefit from support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, according to the information relayed by MacRumors.

According to information communicated this weekend by Mark Gurmann of Bloomberg, however, you should not expect a major event from Apple. The firm should in fact be content to reveal its products through simple updates, via its website, and press releases. Finally, if the journalist believes that the announcements should take place between March and April, our colleagues at MacRumors assure us that Apple will make its announcements during this first week of March.
