iPhone 14 Pro: a fix against “uncontrollable tremors”

Apple’s new smartphone, the iPhone 14 Pro, comes with a slew of awesome new features, including a new pro-level display and camera. However, these features are of little use if the camera doesn’t work well with your usual photo apps.

Apple confirmed this week that iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max users can’t take photos with popular apps like Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat. These users reported that their phone started “shaking uncontrollably” and even clicking when they tried to use the camera with these apps.

“We are aware of the issue and a fix will be released next week,” an Apple spokesperson said.

This won’t be the first patch Apple releases for its new devices. The company has already released iOS 16.0.1 to fix various issues with iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Among other issues addressed, Apple reportedly noted that “photos may appear blurry when zoomed in landscape orientation on the iPhone 14 Pro Max.”
