Ua rash decision that could have had serious consequences. According to our colleagues from TF1 Info, citing the Israeli media Times of Israela couple who were to go to Belgium decided, neither more nor less, to abandon their child when checking in for their flight at David Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv on January 31.

The scene, filmed, shows a cozy with a child inside placed on the check-in counter as employees discover the scene. According to our colleagues, the story had started a few minutes earlier. Indeed, the reservation of a flight of the company Ryanair of the couple included only two tickets, and none for the child. Rather than try to find a solution by paying for a new ticket, the two travelers – who were late – preferred to run to the boarding gate.

“All the employees were in shock. We have never seen anything like it. We couldn’t believe our eyes,” Ryanair said in a statement. Determined, the couple were only stopped by security personnel at the airport complex. The agents then instructed the two parents to leave to pick up their child. They were arrested by the police, alerted, a few moments later. Now, the airline refuses to comment. “It’s a matter in the hands of the local police now,” said the Irish-headquartered company. The story does not say whether the two parents were able to take their flight to Belgium… with their child this time.
