JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Benjamin Netanyahu was successfully operated on for a hernia, the Jerusalem hospital where the Israeli Prime Minister is being treated announced on Monday and is expected to be released from the establishment on Tuesday, according to his office.
“The Prime Minister feels very well and continues to conduct day-to-day business from the hospital,” the statement said.
The Hadassah hospital center announced that Benjamin Netanyahu was resting after the intervention, without indicating the duration of rest necessary, as the offensive carried out by Israel in the Gaza Strip will enter its seventh month.
Benjamin Netanyahu’s services previously announced that a hernia had been diagnosed on Saturday during a routine health check of the leader and that an operation would be carried out under general anesthesia, but wanted to be reassuring about Netanyahu’s state of health. .
