CAIRO (Reuters) – Aleppo airport has been closed after an Israeli-led airstrike damaged its runway, the Syrian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.
Syria’s official news agency, SANA, had earlier reported that Syria’s air defenses had shot down several Israeli missiles.
This is the second Israeli attack in less than a week reported by Syrian media against Aleppo airport in northwestern Syria.
