The continuation of Xiaomi’s 13 series is here: it’s the turn of the Xiaomi 13T Pro to make its appearance. A high-end smartphone that aims to make no concessions on technical specifications.
After the Xiaomi 13, the Xiaomi 13 Lite, the Xiaomi 13 Pro and the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, it is the Xiaomi 13T Pro which is arriving. Like the Xiaomi 12T Pro last year, it intends to offer a good technical sheet. It is accompanied by a Xiaomi 13T, obviously more modest.
A beautiful 144 Hz screen for the Xiaomi 13T Pro
FHD+ definition, 6.67-inch Amoled panel and above all 144 Hz refresh rate, even for its high-end positioning, the Xiaomi 13T Pro makes you want it on paper. Moreover, Xiaomi intends to offer brightness with a peak of 2600 cd/m²: enough to read even in direct sunlight. The smartphone is naturally compatible with Dolby Vision, HDR10+ as well as Dolby Atmos (stereo speakers) to enjoy films and series.
On the photo pane, we find:
- A 50 Mpx, f/1.9 main photo sensor, with 1.22 µm pixels;
- A 12 Mpx, f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle sensor;
- A 50 Mpx x2 telephoto lens, f/2.2;
- A 20 Mpx, f/2.2 selfie sensor.
With this, Xiaomi corrects one of the flaws of the 12T Pro: the absence of a telephoto lens, which therefore arrives with this version. Another correction made by the brand: IP68 certification is required, when last year none was present on Xiaomi’s smartphone.
A 120W charge: 19 minutes to go from 0 to 100%
Even with a 5000 mAh battery, the 13T Pro won’t take long to recharge. The manufacturer announces a maximum charging power of 120 W: according to him, this allows you to go from 0 to 100% battery in 19 minutes, or 36% in five minutes. In terms of autonomy, we should be able to get 17 hours of video playback.
A battery that powers the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC engraved in 4 nm. It is also coupled with 12 or 16 GB of RAM, depending on the version. In terms of storage, three capacities are offered: 256 or 512 GB, as well as a version with 1 TB of storage. The operating system is obviously Android 13, with Xiaomi’s MIUI 14 overlay. On the 13T Pro, users are entitled to Wi-Fi 7 as well as Bluetooth 5.4 and 5G.
Price and availability of the Xiaomi 13T Pro
The Xiaomi 13T Pro will be available in blue, green and black colors. Three configurations will also be offered, at different prices:
- 256 GB of storage and 12 GB of RAM: 800 euros;
- 512 GB of storage and 12 GB of RAM: 900 euros;
- 1 TB of storage and 16 GB of RAM: 1000 euros.
