It’s Canteloup: Alessandra Sublet reacts after the sequence on Stromae which shocked

Following a controversial sequence featuring Stromae with a rope around his neck in C’est Canteloup, Alessandra Sublet spoke out by trying to calm things down.

On Thursday, January 20, some viewers were shocked while watching the comedy show It’s Canteloup on TF1. The imitator is in fact used to going far in his remarks and this is what many like about him, but this time, a inappropriate staging was not to everyone’s taste. This sparked a great controversy.

The footage showed Stromae, a noose around his neck, singing: “I am in favor of a fourth dose of vaccine, and a twelfth dose of Tranxen”. The rhythm chosen by Nicolas Canteloup was that of the singer’s new song “Hell”, which deals in particular with suicide. This song was also written and composed following a long depression of the singer.

“It’s normal that there are people who cry foul”

Recently interviewed by “The last hour” and questioned on this subject, Alessandra Sublet answered with transparency on what she thought of this controversy and this sequence: “I tell myself that it is normal that there are people who cry foul and that it is normal that others, conversely, laugh. No one should be judged. You just have to accept that in this society, we don’t all have the cursor of humor in the same place.”, she said.

The host also clarified that this was not “not targeted against Stromae” not even against “his artistic work”. In short, Alessandra Sublet advocated the right to be able to laugh at everything, while understanding, however, the fact that some people can take it badly.
