Ivanka Trump has only spoken twice since January 19, 2021 – the day her father Donald Trump left the office of US President. What is she doing?

Ivanka Trump (39) keeps fans, media and other interested parties up to date on her life on Twitter and Instagram. Since the change of power in Washington, however, she has fallen silent on social media. The former White House advisor only spoke up on the occasion of her two corona vaccinations in April and May.

So is Ivanka Trump

The entrepreneur moved to Miami with her husband Jared Kushner (40) and their children Arabella Rose (9), Joseph Frederik (7) and Theodore James (5). According to US media reports, the family lives in an apartment in the exclusive Arte Surfside complex (monthly rent around 33,000 euros). Photos show that there are two main things on the agenda at Ivanka: time with her children and sport. The interests of the latter are diverse. The 39-year-old was spotted jogging, surfing and golfing. With Kushner, she also strolls relaxed along the beach or sunbathes on a balcony. Official appearances – none.

It seems as if the otherwise bustling Ivanka Trump is deliberately withdrawing from the public. After all, the mood when her father moved out was heated up due to the previous storm on the Capitol. What the former “First Daughter” is planning in the background is not really known. Some rumors that she is aiming for a political career and is working to improve her battered image. But there is another reason why Ivanka doesn’t want to get a lot of attention right now.

Trouble with law enforcement

Investigations are underway in New York against the “Trump Organization”, the widely branched company of Donald Trump (74). Ivanka also worked for the company until 2017. The New York Attorney General’s office declared in late May 2021 that “the actions of current and former executives and employees” could be considered criminal. Potential tax, insurance and bank fraud cases as well as the falsification of business documents are investigated.

According to the “Washington Post”, investigators want to have come across suspicious tax write-offs from 2010 to 2018 in the amount of around 26 million US dollars (21.3 million euros) declared as “consulting fees” as early as November 2020. Ivanka is said to be involved in one of the items – the equivalent of 612,000 euros. The question: Why did she receive a fee as a consultant, although she was also a senior employee of the “Trump Organization”? Ivanka protested on Twitter shortly after the allegations were published; referred to it as “harassment”.
