James Van Der Beek and his wife Kimberly have become parents again. The actor shares some snapshots on Instagram that show the happiness of the family.
James Van Der Beek, 44, and his wife Kimberly are currently in baby luck. The “Dawson’s Creek” star is delighted to announce the birth of his sixth child: Jeremiah Van Der Beek.
James Van Der Beek: “Kimberly gave birth to the child on the ranch”
The 44-year-old shares eight pictures of his newborn with his fans. Including mostly video recordings and pictures showing Van Der Beek’s five children with their new brother. “@vanderkimberly gave birth naturally to their child on the ranch … and here we are,” the actor explains on Instagram.
For the family, the sixth baby is an absolute miracle. Kimberly suffered two miscarriages before giving birth to their youngest son. “After experiencing late pregnancy losses twice in a row (both at 17+ weeks), we remained silent this time. To be honest, I was scared when I found out,” says the father of six, explaining his worries about another loss. A doctor in Texas found the reason for miscarriages: a weakened cervix. This was remedied by an operation. Now the family can finally hold little Jeremiah in their arms.

Of course, the two star children of the family are always part of their trip. “The children we lost each gave us different pieces of the puzzle … and we are all the more grateful for the ongoing learning process that we can enjoy with this sweet, wise little one,” says Van Der Beek.
Finally, the star addresses his neighborhood and his immediate circle, who respected the family’s wishes and kept the pregnancy a secret.
