He was on the air for Sat.1 for eleven years, since 2017 he has hosted “Guten Morgen Deutschland” for RTL – now Jan Hahn has died.

Jan Hahn died at the age of 47. As his broadcaster RTL announced on Thursday, the moderator passed away on Tuesday “after a short serious illness”. There are no further details on the circumstances of death. Jan Hahn leaves three children behind.

Hahn has presented “Guten Morgen Deutschland” since 2017, previously he was on Sat.1 breakfast television. The Sat.1 Instagram channel has also confirmed the death of its former presenter. There his ex-sender announces: “Our hearts are heavy today: We mourn Jan Hahn. He gave us special moments on Sat.1 breakfast television for many years. Our thoughts and our deepest sympathy are with his family. We will never forget you, dear Jan.” He had been on the air for Sat.1 for eleven years.
