Jan Hofer (70) would like to "finally experience the weekend feeling". After 35 years as a "Tagesschau" spokesman, 16 of which he was chief spokesman, he will retire at the end of the year. What is he looking forward to now? Spending more time with his son Henry (born 2015). "I often noticed that when I hadn't seen him for days because of the shift work, he was always incredibly cuddly and always clung to me," Hofer told "Bild am Sonntag".
No services, no compromises
