In an interview with "Sat.1 Breakfast TV", Jasmine now reveals that she was raped during her time in the United States.
Jasmin Tawil was drugged
The former GZSZ actress was drugged after a date, she says. "He gave me roofies with a friend. I was completely out of control."
Roofies consist of the active ingredient flunitrazepam. In medicine, the drug is used as a sleep aid or pre-medication before surgical or diagnostic interventions. As a drug, flunitrazepam has the reputation of the so-called date rape drug because it has a narcotic effect. Victims of rape or other crimes often cannot remember what happened.
"I didn't want to sleep with him"
Jasmin describes the rape as follows: "Unfortunately he took something that I didn't allow him. He wanted to sleep with me, I didn't want to sleep with him."
A terrible experience that hopefully Jasmin will soon be able to process – but she will probably never forget it.
