Jason Momoa was infected with the corona virus after the “Dune” premiere in London, as the actor announced.

Jason Momoa (42) has tested positive for Covid-19. The “Aquaman” star announced in his Instagram stories, as reported by the US magazine “People”, among others. According to him, he got infected “right after the premiere” of “Dune”. The actor met many people there. He is doing well at the moment. He is currently in isolation with the skater Erik Ellington (44).

The “Sun” reported about a week ago, citing insidersthat a test at Momoa was positive. Accordingly, the contagion also affects the shooting of “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom”. “It’s giving the movie bosses a real headache, who are now concerned about postponing their tight schedule,” said an anonymous source. Patrick Wilson (48) and Amber Heard (35) also play in the sequel. The cinema release is planned for December 2022.

An “aging superhero”

Momoa previously announced – regardless of Corona – in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres (63), that his health is troubling him. “I’m getting old,” said the 42-year-old. Among other things, he had injured his eyes and ribs and had to undergo an operation. “I love my job and sometimes I get a little too excited. Then the age thing, you know, I’m an aging superhero now.”
