She has long chosen silence to protect herself and her career. In early January, a complaint was filed against Jean-Jacques Bourdin for attempted sexual assault by a former collaborator. In her testimony, the complainant claims that the journalist from BFMTV and RMC tried to forcefully kiss her in a swimming pool during a press trip to Corsica in 2013. Accusations which led to the opening of a investigation, definitively pushing the antenna of BFMTV and RMC to temporarily dismiss the journalist.
The former collaborator in question is none other than Fanny Agostini, who for a long time presented the weather report on RMC, then BFMTV, where she met Jean-Jacques Bourdin. And as she confides to Mediapart, at her beginnings, she reveals to have been “caught” by the journalist, even traumatizing her for the presentation of her first bulletin. “Just before going on air, he ripped off my sheet, saying there were no notes at home. Obviously, I hadn’t learned the bulletin by heart, I was completely helplessI started to stammer and invent temperatures”she confided, before revealing the result of this incident: “When the ad came, he shouted in the editorial office: ‘She is bad ! I don’t want her in my house anymore!’ I went to cry in a little cabin”.

Finally in 2013, when she was forced by her boss to attend the Petanque Open in Calvi, Corsica, which Fanny Agostini accepted, a few days before the departure of “make peace” with Jean-Jacques Bourdin, also in the game. From then on, she said she was the victim of inappropriate behavior on the part of the journalist, until the attempted assault, which occurred in the swimming pool of their hotel. “He started swimming parallel to me, while starting to pay me compliments, telling me that I had changed, that he didn’t see me like that. I was super uncomfortable, stomach tight“she remembers from Mediapart, before specifying that her colleague would have then approached “very quickly” of her, and would have her “grabbed by the neck, on the side” before “pull her towards him suddenly” to try to kiss her “Many times”. “I always get what I want“he would then have launched.
“He could make and break careers”
An attack that Fanny Agostini is no longer afraid to talk about today. However, at the time of the events, the facilitator found herself “completely taken aback” and did not tell anyone about this event “for fear of losing his job”. “I had been told that it was necessary to be very respectful with Bourdin, to go in his direction, not to hurt him. He could make and break careers.”, she confides to Mediapart. In addition to the painful memory of this episode in the swimming pool, she kept the messages with a sexual connotation that the journalist would have sent her. “You tempt me every morning… I like your look”he would have written in an email that Mediapart obtained. “Several times, Jean-Jacques asked her when they were going to have dinner together, when they were going to meet after work, slipped her little papers… She might say ‘No, no, no’, he came back to the charge. It was repeated and insistent”confirms for his part a journalist interviewed by our colleagues.
