Jean-Jacques Goldman, father of a large family: who are his 6 children?


His first wife was a childhood friend. Legend has it that they were both a couple when they decided in the early seventies to go to Turkey behind the wheel of a 2CV. Jean-Jacques Goldman picks up Catherine Morlet while she was on vacation in Spain, and heads to the Orient, by the side roads.

The beginning of a love story which culminated in marriage in 1975, just after he finished his military service in the air force. At the time, Jean-Jacques Goldman was 24 years old, he was the singer of the group Thaï Phong which revealed itself with the hit Sister Janebut also a salesman in his parents’ sporting goods store in the Paris suburbs.

In December of the same year, Caroline, his eldest daughter, was born. She studied psychology like her mother before turning to audiovisual production with her company Papyrus et Mamilaine, which carries out interviews with elderly people for families.

Born in 1979, his brother Michael is the only one in the family who chose a profession in the light. With his label My Major Company based on crowdfunding, it has some successes to its credit such as the career of the singer Grégoire and Generation Goldmanan album of covers of his father’s songs by the young guard (M Pokora, Zaz, Amel Bent…).

Caroline and Michael also have a sister, Ninaborn in 1985, who became a pediatrician after studying medicine.

In 1997, after twenty-two years of marriage, Jean-Jacques and Catherine Goldman separated. In 2001, he marries Nathalie. It is said that she came to the dressing room one concert evening in 1995.

They never posed together for photographers. They want to remain an uneventful couple and their main occupation is to educate their three children Maya born in 2004, Kimi born in 2005 and Rose born in 2007. After years spent quietly in Marseille, the couple moved to London in 2016, a destination which ensures them complete anonymity.
