A kind of amusement park. On Sunday, at the Beaujoire exhibition center in Nantes, La France insoumise opened the door to the future. An immersive and olfactory meeting. Screens everywhere, 360° images, lights, music and staging – the leaders and figures of the movement read texts. The thousands of activists (more than 4,000 with an FFP2 mask on their faces) witnessed a real spectacle. U.S. too. We showed up a bit skeptical – an immersive meeting? ! – and we left like a kid after a day at Futuroscope. Smells (the olfactory side) were less obvious to sniff for those (like us) at the back of the room.
The presidential candidate was in good shape. Very happy with sound “blowout”. He invited those present (in Nantes and on social networks) into different worlds. A stroll through space, the digital world and the sea. No coincidence. Everything is connected. Jean-Luc Mélenchon mixes all the universes with the social and climatic question. The rebellious said in the middle of the changing scenery things like: “We are going to set the maximum inheritance at 12 million euros. Beyond that, we take everything.
