Jean-Luc Mélenchon: the enormous cost of his “immersive” and “olfactory” meeting revealed

For the launch of his 2022 campaign, Jean-Luc Mélenchon refused nothing: he created a new generation meeting, described as “olfactory”, to impress his voters, which was unveiled this Sunday, January 16, 2022.

It is not a dumb first attempt: Jean-Luc Mélenchon once again wanted to mark the occasion for his last meeting to date. In fact, the candidate France rebellious offered himself an exceptional staging along with his speech. It was his first meeting of the year for his 2022 presidential campaign. At the end of his meeting, odors were diffused, especially those from “space” – which would have been difficult to identify with the mandatory FFP2 masks…

With this new generation meeting, Jean-Luc Mélenchon wanted to make an impression and boost the motivation of his voters. It must be said that it was almost a film session attended by the public: images of space when the candidate evoked the conquest of space and nuclear weapons, cables and digital forms to illustrate personal data, and finally, the movement of the waves of the Mediterranean Sea to denounce plastic waste. But what is the price of such an appointment? 300,000 €, reported on the BFMTV channel Manuel Bompard, the campaign manager of Jean-Luc Mélenchon. A sum that may not allow the candidate, recently compared to Donald Trump, to make several other meetings of the same kind…
