It’s no longer a secret. Since August 5, 2023, Jarry has taken over control of the show Everyone wants to take its place on France 2. He succeeds Laurence Boccolini, whose last took place on August 3. But, surprise, Monday August 7, 2023, the new presenter of the show had to face a first disappointment. Barely arrived, his show has indeed already been deprogrammed. A misadventure he had fun with: “So! What’s on TV?”we hear him wondering on the video posted on his account instagram. The father of twins is in a tiled living room from which we can see a large screen, where appears the face of the very popular Jean-Luc Reichmann, who officiates in The 12 strokes of noon on TF1. “There is my friend Jean-Luc on the first”, comments the comedian. Before feigning astonishment at not finding his face on France 2 : “And on the 2 it’s a football match. I’m sorry, I don’t understand, normally it was the show…”

“In short, I don’t know what to think about it, what”, he continues, falsely annoyed. Little by little, he scrolls the lens of his camera towards a well-known face: that of his rival from the other channel. And, obviously, the two men don’t seem to have any intention of hitting each other! Present at his side on the sofa, as smiling as teasing, Jean-Luc Reichamnn indicates that he wants to take a look at both screens at the same time. The first broadcasts its program and the second the Women’s Football World Cup. “It’s funny, because I noticed that on TF1Everybody wants to take my place!” he jokes. And Jarry to complete, accomplice, towards the camera: “Friends, so that you understand, I am at his place and I will take his place. I’ll start with his house, and then I’ll take his place!” A rivalry that looks more like a beautiful friendship. Moreover, at the end of the video, the two animators do not hesitate to declare their love. “I love you very much my little darling!”said Jarry. His show, canceled for the England-Nigeria match in the Women’s World Cup, will resume on Tuesday August 8, 2023.
